Biography:

Glenn Schoen is a crisis and security management advisor with over 35 years’ international experience in 40 countries. He is owner and CEO of advisory and training company Boardroom@Crisis BV, based in The Hague, The Netherlands. Over the course of his career he has served over 300 companies, associations, international institutions and governments up to and including the UN, UNICEF, Europol, Eurojust, the European Parliament and the OPCW. This includes prior work for UFI and the G3 on Good Practice crisis guidance publications. Mr. Schoen started his career following studies in the US and Europe moving from law enforcement to analysis, management and consulting for among others Ernst & Young and International Security Management. Secondary activities have included volunteer work for global security professional learning platforms ASIS, OSAC and the United Nation's ICRI, and work for the Presidential Personnel Department at the White House. He lectured for 10 years at the Georgetown University Continuing Studies program and regularly provides commentary for the media (1000+ interviews). This includes nearly 100 guest appearances over the past 30 years on CNN.
